You beautiful human beings. Hello!

Today I woke up really early, and I'm not a morning person which means I need like 6 alarm clock before to actually get up! But this morning was totally worth it! I went for two hours yoga and meditation on Dalston Roof Park. The morning was organised by Native Highs. They welcomed us with warm water, lemon and ginger and we sat down for 20 minutes guided meditation, which I found really beautiful and intense. Then we did one hour yoga, which was a good stretch and a good wake up for the body (the style of yoga I actually do and prefer is hatha yoga, with the lovely Sophie! I will tell you more about it in the future!). It was all followed by a vegan breakfast and some coffee. Honestly it was a really really good way to start the day and now I feel charged and ready to rock the world! :)

They're gonna do some more of this native mornings and a weekend retreat at the end of June, if you're interested and you're in the area, follow them on their Facebook page!

Coming to the recipe of today: BROCCOLI SLAW BABY!

Before to move to London I’ve never heard therefore never tried coleslaw. Which I end up really liking it!

We had some friends for dinner the other night and I wanted to make the side dish a bit more interesting and original. And to be honest with you, I like this version even more then the cabbage one!

Here, here, there’s the recipe.

broccoli slaw

(takes 10 minutes - makes 2 servings - vegan)

1 chopped head broccoli (100gr)

2 carrots, peeled and grated

½ chopped red onion, medium size

handful bean sprouts

120gr vegan mayo (hey, why don’t you make your own? Link)

broccoli slaw

Everything in a bowl, mix all together and BAM! Your original, tasty side is ready! :)
