Happy Monday guys!
This morning I woke up not feeling super good. A bit of sore throat and a general feeling of a cold is on the way. Not a great way to start the week but oh well, it happens, it's not always sunny and smiley faces right?
There are days when you just feel crap, so let's accept it and move on! Tomorrow is gonna be another day, in the meanwhile there are a number of things that can help the mood during these blurgh days, one of them is to give our tummies and tastebuds a cuddle with a extremely healthy and tasty smoothie.
A while ago Simon made a personalized smoothie for me and this morning I felt it was the right time to remake it.
You need to try it if you're feeling a bit down because it's gonna give you a good boost, for your body and your mood!
Mango has a lot of vitamins and nutrients that help the body feel fuller as the pineapple, which is rich particularly in vitamin C which can fight off viruses that causes cough and colds. They also taste deliciously exotic!
(makes 2 servings – takes 5minutes - vegan)
- 1 banana
- ½ mango
- 7 pineapple chunks
- 250ml coconut water
superfood boost: 2tbsp flaxseeds
Blend all together and enjoy it! :)
P.s. another thing that's gonna help me today is a hot bath with some lavender salt (try this ones!) and I'm gonna try to take an early night. Obviously after have watched the new episode of Game of Thrones! :)
